Fun fact: Siddharth Anand needs a pat on his back for coming up with an excellent no-nonsense movie dedicated to our armed forces mainly airforce and getting great acting from almost all actors including the antagonist. The air fights in the sky take us together in different zones and they do not seem fake at all. So really the Director has managed everything including special effects very well with his full team. Hrithik and Deepika are so good to watch together and look so good in Air Force uniform, they have delivered very fine restrained acting throughout and that's what makes this movie a feather in their hat for the well-made and well-acted movie. Anil Kapoor is superb too. All the other actors have put in their best too. This movie will remain for years as part of the patriot movies made well and it has a full focus on airforce unlike many other patriotic ones so it's different from others. This movie brings forth the tough, challenging, and inspiring life led by our Air Force commanders and is a tribute to our armed forces. Would encourage all to watch it in the theatre to enjoy the thrill of air fights. Go and enjoy the movie. Fun fact: I remember watching this when it first came out and enjoying myself and being impressed with the production value. Having just finished playing FF7 Remake made me want to watch this again, and it is even better than I remembered it. Amazing fight scenes, the characters are true to the game, and the animation is great (still holds up 15 years later)! And, having just finished playing the latest video game, the plot pretty much makes sense, which says a lot for a JRPG. Fun fact: Not as bad as I feared. There is absolutely no nitty-gritty feel to it. Nothing dark or foreboding. Nothing really suspenseful. No, it floats gently on the surface, fairly nice, controlled and polished. But on the other hand it is mostly fairly realistic and surprisingly gory. The enemies cannot aim if their lives depended on it (which it actually does, making it even more surprising that they cannot aim) and hand grenades has huge explosions, tearing down walls and stuff. Fun fact: I liked the basic premise behind the movie and found it to be kind of cerebral, but there needed to be more about what she did in Peru that enabled her to be able to control more when she got back. Encountering her Mom and the reasoning behind her being in the Peruvian jungle when she was SO pregnant provided a needed piece of the story, but did not explain her being able to control her mind powers any better.
